Why Has US Pricing Changed?

We’ve recently restructured our US pricing to make EMPTEE more accessible for our American community. As an Australian brand, we’ve adapted to new US trade regulations to ensure you receive your order smoothly — without unexpected fees or border delays.

In August 2025, the US government suspended the “$800 duty-free” threshold for international shipments. This means that all goods shipped from overseas to the US are now subject to mandatory import duties and trade tariffs.

 

Are These Taxes Included in My Price?

Yes — always. All US orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).
This means the price you see at checkout already includes:

  • US import duties

  • Trade tariffs

  • Required customs processing

Your order clears US Customs automatically and is delivered straight to your door.
No surprise bills. No courier admin fees. No delivery delays due to unpaid taxes. We choose the no-surprises route to protect our community.

 

Does EMPTEE Profit From This?

Absolutely not. Every cent of the difference between our AUD and USD storefront pricing goes directly toward mandatory US customs fees and international logistics. With our current US pricing we are absorbing a portion of these additional costs ourselves to continue supporting our US FAM.

 

Shipping Time to the USA

Because duties are prepaid, your order bypasses standard customs hold queues. Most US orders arrive within 7–10 business days, depending on your location.
